Communal space that became an ideal place to sit and watch the bubbles go round. We tried to make this chore a pleasure. Doubling the washing and drying capacity and adding a new utility sink and funktional storage, made room for some extra creature comforts, like game and book storage, and a folding table for dry clothes. The homeowners in this association are going to love this.
Community space, custom details
This laundry room went from being a place you did not want to spend any time to a space where you want to be. Doing chores will be a treat in this classic laundry room with vintage coastal details throughout. This HOA’s laundry room needed a complete reconfiguration and with a challenging floor plan we needed to get creative in how we planned out the use of this space. Efficient use of plumbing and electrical allowed us to keep a tight configuration and create 2 work zones. One space for doing laundry and the second area as a more community interaction and bulletin board for local news and happenings. Creating multi-funktional areas was the key to transforming this small space into an activity hub for these homeowners.
